I agree. Don't like these handlebars, either. Does not look sturdy / strong enough to withstand the holes in city streets in Rome & Manhattan.
Best regards, Lilia
I used my 1966 Carl Zeiss WERRAMATIC camera made in GDR for this photo -- I missed the deadline for 'Commie Camera Week' with this. I was out in Brentwood High Street and saw these three 'Characters' and had a laugh with them -- they said they were going to audition for 'Last of the Summer Wine' ( a famous British TV comedy programe where most of the characters have died) I used outdated Ilford FP4+ and processed in home-made ID11 formula 1+1.
Today I was out in Brentwood High Street and the Gent on the LEFT of the pic was there on that same seat talking to another friend in a wheelchair -- I told him the photo was 'Online' and I got some good comments and he was pleased -- I offered to do him a print but he declined.

Are you noticing any purple fringing with the Zeiss 21 on the M 240? I would be interested in your experience with this combination. I have experienced some fringing using the Zeiss 21 and M 240 - but interestingly the fringing seems to occur only when there is non-complex, somewhat neutral grey subject matter. Nice image BTW!

Thanks Jorge and Aquilan, I knew there would be the technical expertise here. It all makes sense to me now. I will work some more with both the Leica and Sony bodies with the wider Zeiss lenses (both 28 and 21) It may be I either have to go back to film or step up to Leica 6 bit linked glass - there goes the summer travel budget! Thank you again!!!
