Dorothy, in Wizard of Oz, said "It is going to get darker before it gets brighter."

Thank you. I tried B&W; it wasn't good. With colour, it was necessary to separate the tonality. The M9 sensor seems to have kept the colour information well.

Nice tonal range. Quite a combo - MM + 50 Noct

Thank you. At f1.4, ISO 1600 I was nearly maxing the M9. It was enough though, and little PP was needed.

Thank you. Like "riding a tiger" - it is hard to stay up, but harder to come down. Does the little girl in the pic seem pleased?

Thank you. The M9 and the 50 Lux makes a good pair, captured the tonal range well. I only had to adjust the 2 ends of the histogram.

Thank you. I like to do selective focus. A bit of trial and error. Pardon the clumsiness sometimes.

However you see it, she is quite memorable - as this pic shows.

Hi mitresg, It's about 1m/3ft or so. The most difficult thing to get used to are the long minimum focus distances of Leica-M lenses.

Thanks for the kind words, n.w and mitresg. N.W., this structure was build in 1894, I guess the Germans would not consider this a particularly old building.

Thank you. It was a make-shift shop, I liked those pictures on the wall. So, I lowered the camera to shoot upwards,

The Leica lens is good, but Sony ILCE-6000 did a good job too.

Thank you. My carpark, though grimy, offers many photo opps.

Hehe. Thank you. 9pm. The regular shapes and the tonality made, even washing machines, quite a nice pic. I thought so, anyway.

Thank you. The evening sun lights up these back-alley walls well to reveal their texture.

Thank you. Shot at f2, only the centre of the front leg is focused. I prefer it less contrasty - more In repose.
