Thank you. I like to try B&W in landscape. In this, my job has been made easier by the brightness and the slight variation in distance. I don't think I shot at f4, but at f2.8, to maintain some perspective.

Thank you. The background is as it was. I was fortunate to have the sun, to enable the tree to stand out.

I got that lens for £10 at a 'Car Boot Sale' here in England. It is marked 'made in Japan under licence from Carl Zeiss Jena. '

Thank you. I had noticed the large lamps, and the wall decor, powering and crowding on the student. She couldn't care less.

Thank you. Remnant of overnight revelry. Yes, I had to open wide, and shot at ISO1600. Seems OK.

Thank you. This is the "modern" chinatown, cleaner and tidier. In the old days, when we walked on the pavement, we had weave around hawkers at our feet, and sometimes, would sit on a stool for a snack.

Hehe. It was a lonnng staircase; and the climb had been slow. So, I had plenty of time to prepare for it. Yes. he (??? never saw it) made a diff.

Thank you. I feel sorry for her. Later, more things will be hung up; she would be even more shielded and ignored. Not at one time in the past, though.

Thank you. It was her body posture that attracted my attention; of course the background wall-paper too.

Thank you. I don't recall it swaying. There was very little wind, in fact. Maybe it was my unsteady hands ;-)

Thank you. Not so easy to catch the car at the right position. I think those reflective lines on the road were very helpful.

Thank you. My favourite table - they allow dogs here.

Thank you. The graininess is largely from Tmax-400. I don't mind, in this case - it gives the tree some character. The thrusting forward of the left branch is intended.

Thank you. We are in someone's gunsight at all time, even at a quiet corner.

Thank you. Lack of activities, helped reveal the foodcourt's content. Even the escalator helped in framing.

Thank you. What struck me was the way they were stacked and also the range of tones. The architect might be photographer.

Thank you. I was sitting about 5 feet from him, waiting to catch him drinking. I used bracketing to focus, and the quiet M6 shutter was enough not to make him spill his drink. This is jpg, of course.

Thank you. I measured the tree carefully with a spot meter for this shot. There is nothing else to stand out.

Thank you. I was trying to catch the "night scene", looking out from a Roti Prata store.

Thank you, Heinz. I first noticed the straight line of flowers and shot them with my lens wide-open, to get the selective focus. But, it took me 3 shots to get the "selection" right (?).
