Thank you. A simple scene. I was attracted by the way we see simple scene as simplicity. I like the gradation in grey tones that separates the shapes. I am glad you like it.

Thank you. I had a 50mm with me at the time, but would have preferred a 35 mm. I stood underneath the right side to emphasise the convergence. The lightings are natural.

Thank you. A challenge for me to do this in B&W with film.

Thank you. This is a corner of a school wall which uses different materials. I found it interesting, as the materials have different textures.

Hi mitresg, thanks. Shot in DNG and converted to jpeg off line. Have not figured out how to nail a shot in jpeg yet, DNG is a safer option for me. It's the rainy season in Anhiu and can be pretty depressing I guess. I thought this was an old lady, but now I am not sure any more; I guess we'll never know for sure. Thanks for the comment!

Thank you. I was firstly attracted by the prominent sign and the lamp. The sky( bright at the top, dark at the bottom - no, it was not PP) made the diff. The building beneath the lamp was a bonus, icing. Have to lift up my head.

Like his expression - fierce independence. Scratched my head where this is - Taiwan? Those words on the bus, mixed with advertising, are exhortations.

Thank you. I like doing this kind of pics. I walked fairly close to the temple to point my lens skyward to the trio.

Thank you. Lucky to have those table-tops for contrast. It was early morning, about 6.30 am. Thus, ISO2500, about 1/30 sec, I think.

Thank you, Heinz. The architecture of this mall is well, amazing. The outside facade is equally amazing. Remember what Dorothy said about Oz - "must be a powerful wizard to live in a place like this!"

Thank you. The muted colour is natural, from the M9. I think the only thing I did was to bring out the red slightly.

Thank you. B&W sky? There is a moody charm in this, a feeling of melancholy. I think.

Wow. What lurks in those woods? Great shot !

Thank you. A B&W picture has no bias towards dirt and grime.

Thank you. There were cooks from China running around in front; waited for a chance to shoot the bamboo dim sum containers being steamed. Kept to f1.4 to isolated them. Not too bad - showed the texture well enough.

Thank you. Chinatown is Chinatown - lighting is optional. My M9 was stretched - held my breath, held the wall. Not too bad, I thought, at ISO 2500.

Thank you. It is a stylistic tree, which I have been eyeing for a while. The difficulty has been trying to isolate it.

Thank you. It is the simplicity.

M8 colour is quite natural - at least, from what I can remember about horses.

Thank you. These two ladies had been engaged in conversation for quite a while. I was trying to catch a right moment to shoot, but was afraid to disturb them. As you can see, I shot a table-top level. But, fun though. The M6 allows me t catch it right.

Thank you. I like to do B&W landscape, but it is a bit of a dilemma for me. I was standing on the road, about 6 feet from the grass, crouching to get an upward shot.

Thank you. This is a B&Yellow pic.
