JT, my problem with the Otus 55 is that so far it has only been equipped with Nikon and Canon mount. I have yet to see a good NEX/EF adapter - I have a Novoflex NEX/NIK adapter, BUT . . when Zeiss makes a lens for Nikon they reverse the focus ring, courtesy to people used to Nikon lenses. After 55 years behind movie/video cameras, the "correct" way to focus is etched into my brain. I have a Macro Planar 50/2,0 - a wonderful lens, but - simply had to give up using it on the street; it has a Nikon mount AND focuses the "wrong" way. I'll never forgive Nikon for this stupid idea . . !
