Good to see an old-fashioned short exposure (totally fed up with the long exposures of falling water . . .)

Thank you. The backstreet was quite deserted, so I had the time. I had to put the 35 Lux quite close to the ground, to include all the sides.

Yes. Early before 6am, when the rain had just stopped. The sun had just started to peep out, but not enough yet to brighten up the trees. The reflections and the misty air added to the atmosphere. Good to be there, with/without a camera.

Thank you. This is a decorative bridge, as it is nice to walk over it, even though it isn't bridging over anything substantial. The IIIf is able to give more contrast, but I wanted it this way.

Thank you. I am glad you like this. I have often been charmed by this dump site. The darkening sky and subdue lighting are needed to show the site's character.

Beautiful colors. The white is like jade.

Nice use of selective focus.

Thank you. Very keen observation. I am afraid I hadn't noticed the "cup". Anyway, I wouldn't know how to "get rid" of it, It was quite dark in the early morning. I was concerned with getting the central details sharp, and supported by the surrounding. Hadn't notice the cup at all. But, in my humble opinion, I think it rather adds to the pic, in this case, although I wouldn't want a plastic up at the foot of a tree.

See your back on my side of the pond. Like the shallow dof.

Thank you. There are many such well thought out designs in the Library building. A pleasure to just look around, not just the books.

Thank you. Those China chefs must be quite steamed too, by the end of the day. They are steaming dumplings (background) and rice rolls (foreground).

Thank you. Sun just came out after the rain - a time when the darkened branches could stand out.

Thank you. It was 10pm at a shopping mall. The salesgirl looked lost.

Thank you. It was a lowlight shot, even with the sunlight streaming in. I like it in B&W; it seems to give a sense of simplicity and a sense of being in the thick of it, of being enclosed. I think so, anyway.

Thank you. Shot very close with the lens wide open. The A7R made focusing easy even with very a narrow depth-of-field.

Thank you. She didn't order any drink and didn't notice me at all. The lighting was from Coffee and Bean. My 65 year old IIIf did a decent job with the HP5 400.
