Thank you Sol. The laundry line was the first thing to catch my eye. Then the man walked in, and I had a picture. I wish people still dried their clothes on lines in NYC.
Interesting shot Derick. The post production seems a little wonky, but colors work well. Your warms advance and the cools recede. Well done. Makes my want to go to Santorini. : )
Hey Ross,
Thanks! She was super sweet. We ended up chatting for a little while about how many people she sees on the river everyday. She liked how the river made the world come to her.
Its an interesting grouping. The contrast of the kids and their grandmother (or at least a woman old enough to be their grandmother is curious.
It speaks to a younger generations ease with being photographed. There is also a curious contrast of traditional fabric being replaced with name brand clothing.
It was a great castle. Where do you live in Portugal? My girlfriend and I were there two years ago, in Guimaraes and Porto. I was testing out a 28mm Summicron while I was there.
Was this photo taken with condensation on the lens? It happens to me every once an a while, but sometimes the condensation acts like a filter.
