Herman, I could tell you stories about living in this city. You see it as a tourist through rose-colored glasses, and that's the way it should be. Living here one has to be extremely careful. Appreciate it, Diane. Have never seen this color leaves previously. Taken in the New York Botanical Garden, huge park with well-funded philanthropists donating. This place is amazingly well run providing tram cars to get us around. Will need a return visit.

This is Tri-X, with Rodinal 1-100 stand developing. Really just experimenting with it (and some Ilford FP4) because it's what I have on hand right now as I spend a bit of time with film. I picked Rodinal just because of its long life and ease of using it in stand processing. I know the grain is pretty pronounced and may not appeal to all. After spending the past few years exclusively in digital, I sort of enjoy the grain. If I keep with it, I'm sure I'll try some other combos as well.

Tim, what film are you using on this and are you pushing t it? You should try some shots with tmax. it has great tonal range and i find it works well for portraits.
