X-pans are not only great for landscape. But, emphasis on perspective is a game changer with the X-Pan or X-Pan format. For example, the two women in the foreground with the train in the background disappearing into the end is a perfect use of this format.
I use to have the Fuji TX-2 which was pretty much the same camera. I too sold it a while back and now that I saw your posted story, it makes me think I should have kept it.
So I have been playing with the X-Pan ratio of 1:2.7 and applying it to a few shots. Most of these were taken with a 50mm on an M11.
