Royal Caribbean Cruise ship 'Navigator of the Seas' Eastern Mediterranean trip from May 26th 2013 calling at Sicily,Pireus,Kusadasi ( Turkey), Chania ( Crete) and back to Rome. I used my 1986 LEICA M6 for colour and 1965 M2 for B&W . The colour was all outdated, 2006 Fuji NPS 160 I rated at 80ASA and some Fuji Reala 100 2005 I rated at 80 ASA and had processed by BOOTS of Brentwood High Street. I scanned the 6x4" prints with my old 'MUSTEK 1200 UB' flatbed and PhotoShop 7 . Flash was a Miranda 630CD unit. The shows in the Ship's Theatre were all available light at f2 on the 1989 50mm Summicron and other lenses were a 1966 Canadian Leitz 35mm f1.4 Summilux and a 1957 90mm f4 collapsible Elmar..
2006 Outdated Fuji NPS 160
A scan from an 8x6" print I had entered to the Leica Postal Portfolios some years ago. It was using the EP2 colour process and on 'Lustre' Kodak paper.
Malapaso Island, North of Cebu -- my Sister-in-Law arranged a Group visit for us from England in an 18 seater van -- here the LIGHT was so BRIGHT ! I used my old 1960's Weston Master V meter and it must have been accurate as the slide was good !
Malapasco Island, North of Cebu -- my Sister-in-Law arranged a group visit for us from England in an 18 seater van -- it was too HOT in the Sun for ME !
We are not likely to see these classic IOR yachts ever again. They were beautiful stately yachts fully equipped for world voyaging, raced for pleasure, no media coverage, no spectators unless they were in boats on the course - like I was.
