I created this film noir story and shoot for a uni elective. I took this photo on a Canon EOS Elan ii with Illford Delta 3200 black and white film. I developed the film myself in the darkroom. Finally I photographed the physical print with my (pictured) girlfriend's Sony RX1.
1 artificial light source plus light from moon pictured top right.
Darkroom printing - F8, grade 03 filter, 50 seconds. I dodged female's eyes for 15 seconds.

4 artificial light sources.
Darkroom printing - F8, grade 2.5 filter, 34 seconds. The lamp is burnt for 10 seconds.
I intentionally didn’t spot the grainy print to add to the ‘aged film noir’ aesthetic.
photo taken at Nha Trang beach, Vietnam. Nhiem, the man in photograph, returned home to his wife, My, after his morning fishing round using the basket boat.
While walking to do some work this morning, I couldnt help but notice this beautiful scene. A rummage around in my rucksank was all i needed to capture this.
