Dream walk. They say, the dripping of the rain is soothing for the brain. Torrential rain fouls, reminds you of your vows, reminiscences of past, some marks that ever last.

I think that somebody is in the scene. Behind the window in the centre, behind the window on the right, which is just been noticed. This light lights everything but the shadows which in turn reveal the forms. A great abstract of absentia.

The secret of the composition is in the batons. Excellent capture of the moment.

Thanks Lilia. This is at Docklands, London. The old complex of Thames Port and Docks, a traditional area that I still remember partly ruined in 1967, since the bombing of WWII, has been gradually developed in a super modern area. The canals in the area give it a special character.

Why I do like this photograph so much? Because it has a great balance of composition that is not so easily anticipated at a first glance. The man in the foreground is the reference figure on a line of perspective "telling a story" with the other two figures on the same line in the background. But there is also another plane crossing this perspective where the second man in the line is "telling a different story". There are two figures. An observer, his body implying that he is watching and trying to guess what the others in the far background are telling and a "reporter" talking on his mobile on the move. All those are framed along, and on imaginable lines, cutting the frame in almost golden ratio proportions, while the pile of sacks provides the "central weight" of balance making the whole picture stable. A moment captured in a fraction of a second. An ordinary scene transformed into a masterful composition on three consecutive planes ; one of the perspective, one in the middleground and the third in the far background. This is something quite exceptional!! I am deeply impressed. Dimitris V. Georgopoulos Athens, Greece.

The most impressive thing with you and other Italian photographers in this site, is how you transfrom a long embedded Italian photographic heritage into a "new look" ingeniously adding forms and angles of view that connect the old with the new in a different way. This photo of yours could easily be named "A Hommage to Mario Giacomelli". It really is but it is at the same time a new photograph so different from Giacomelli's "Birds" taken in Rome. I do like it very much. I do believe it is an excellent photo. Dimitris V. Georgopoulos Athens, Greece
