Thanks very much. In this case I use a tripod because in manual settings the shutter speed it is about only 1/1000 and exposure in 2.8. Sometimes I talked to my subject to try to stay steady in any way possible because any rough movement is going to be out of focus. I like ISO in 100 and WB between 400 or 800. Hope this will help you.

Hi Herman!,

Yes, she is the Mayor, her name is Carmen Yulin. The person that you see in the interview is one of the leaders who supported her in the election. She is important for facing a powerful mayor who was 12 years in power. A person that considering by many people to be invincible and who lost for more than twelve thousand votes. She managed to unify almost all the sectors of our society. Something that had never happened and joined them against to fight against an abusive government. In case of the defeated mayor, he was a discriminatory, violent, intolerant person and offensively against the arts and the culture of our Country. Although I am older than she is but I want to think like many people here in Puerto Rico, that Carmen brings an opening, hope, peace inside in a country so divided as ours and a warmth to others that we need.

Hi Herman!, thanks because although I am not actually a professional, the know of your taste for my pictures, makes me feel great. Last November 6 were the general elections in Puerto Rico. I took these photos during a protest because in the past few years the past government fired over 30 thousand employees. In fact, they loose the election. For this reason the protest was called 'forbidden forget'.
