Thank you. A bit tricky to use a 75mm for this. Easy enough to blur the background at f2, but to make the foreground stay in focus!! I like those reddish things in the background. Don't remember what they are.
Thank you. I find it a challenge and delight, in trying to do a scene, like this, where things are rather uniform (grass and more grass), and yet bring it to life. Uniformity does not have to be a bore, I hope. I am glad you like this.
I was using my Elmarit 28mm, f2.8 on the A6000, making it roughly 35mm. To get the 3D look, I shot the flower head-on. Even so, with the lens wide-open, I still had to get quite close. Thank you.
I was lucky - the morning sun started to stream in behind the bush. Just waited 5 minutes till the light was right. Took care to keep shadow details. Thank you.
Don't know what this is. I was attracted by the glow, which seemed to give a 3D look, while highlighting the wall texture around. Selecting this, deselecting the rest which receded. Thank you. I am sure next time it won't be the same. A bit of luck.
