Born in Italy in 1955 and graduated in Medicine and Surgery with specialization in Dermatology and Venereology at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, he currently works in the National Health Service. He has published many scientific articles in several international journals, e.g. European Journal of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Clinical Laboratory, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Dermatologia Clinica and others. Since 2014 he has been a member of the International Dermoscopy Society. He lives between Rome and a country-house in central Italy. He has made many travels around the world with his Leica cameras. The name of his wife is printed on the bottom side of these cameras.
