Thanks Yuri - The Red Barn is one of the iconic American agricultural symbols - at first I thought about a "straight" beauty shot of the red barn but the utility pole and sky seemed to tell a much larger story - thanks to seeing it the same way. Many people grew up in this kind of rural setting - utility poles and wires included!!
I really like your post & photos. But what is this? There's a line around the arm. Is this a composite? And, if so... why catagorize it as a cityscape? It's a manipulated art piece. Fine. Go with it. It's interesting.
You are correct Aquilan - I thin the combination of the Zeiss and NIkon D800e is without comparison when it comes to this kind of shooting situation - I have found each of the Zeiss lens have their own "personality" and they each take a long time to get accustomed to their strengths and their weakness. The 21 is challenging in wide landscape shots - in this case there is no strong anchoring visual element in the foreground so the eye needs to be satisfied looking at color and form in the rest of the composition - thank you for you kind comments
