The tracks left behind by the tractor and of course, by the seagulls is one reason I took this. Why should the seagul tracks run in parallel to those of the tractor's? 5am.

Thank you. Fascinating architecture. I spend time often standing there to watch the interplay of light. And to think that this is one of the first mall. Genius.

ADDENDUM.......Dec 24, 2016 ........ a few moments later after my 5:06pm notes. Had not seen the 2014 notes. My goodness how one's memory recognizes either the very best (or worst) intent. Hope all is well & happy with you and your family. L

Dear Odd Geir, I haven't been here for a very long time. Decided to just type in my first name, then a full page of photos appeared. The very first one gave me a shock as the little girl looked very much as I did when I was younger. Fond memories...........thank you! note: Shall try to stay in touch more often as I do mention our lovely chats. Always learned something new from you. Be well.....be happy! L

Thank you. I took the pic, but stood there much longer bathing in the scene.

Thank you. This street at Gold Coast, with shops and restaurants, has a homely feel. For business, of course, but it does not have the overtly "only for business" feel. Merry Xmas.

I had a 35mm f1.4 but shot the pic at f8. Still, the lens was not enough to catch the panoramic view. So I tried to get a B&W to get the converging shoreline with the ocean rolling in. Seems more fun.

This Japanese lady was actually a life-size photo. I was intrigued by the way she peered out behind the parted curtain. The 2 at the bottom were reflections. Thank you.

Every morning, when I was in Salvador da Bahia for a conference, and I got up from the bedroom window, I saw this fisherman who was fishing with a fishing rod in hand. One day, with the sea are rough, I decided to photograph it, taken my inseparable Panasonic DMC FZ200, using his super zoom I took this picture. I hope you enjoy. And meanwhile merry Christmas to all of you and next.
