Was this with the 100 or 35? I noticed it coming up in the quick search of 100mm but it has a 35mm assigned to it. Just curious. I am getting paranoid about my code :)
Saw this on a wall by the River Stort, Herts./Essex border (UK) -- there was a metal mesh fence in front but by using my 180mm lens at a wide aperture I put it out of focus and it vanished ! I used my A24 back loaded with 2003 dated Kodak Portra 400 VC film size 220 I got off e-bay cheap and downrated it as it was outdated, and processed it myself in C41 -- I did a 'saturation' increase on the scan of the negative.
Thanks guys! I was quickly removed from the Casino after only 3 shots. Evidently, its illegal to take pictures in this establishment and I found out the hard way.
I thank you for your comments, it's nice to know that you are not alone on judging the emotional charge in a picture. It's a highly subjective thing sometimes.
Thank you, I felt the same way about the conji on the pillars as well. I was also glad this particular section of the shrine had a richer shade of red as well. Other portions appear to be quite faded although the famous Steve McCurry shot in 2007 was actually shot in the pale orange color section. Steve McCurry is an absolute genius and I know he loves the kyoto area.
I started with actresses (and some actors) from the local theater and burlesque scenes. Then I joined Model Mayhem, which is a great place to meet women (or men) interested in modeling, makeup, etc.
The more of them that I work with, the easier it is to find others. I also find them through Facebook. Many of my subjects are friends of other people I've shot.
Might have been even cooler if you could have someone standing there holding something in their hands, with the light beaming into their hands. It wold look like that movie Starman from 1984.
A quick shot 'from the hip' as I walked past these Bikers at Southend-on-Sea,Essex on August Bank Holiday. I used my 'new' lens, a 24mm f2.8 CARL ZEISS JENA marked'Made in Japan under licence' which I got in a car boot sale for £10 in as new condition. I used outdated 2005 Tudor 100 film rated at 64 ASA.
Another test shot with my 'new'lens , a 24mm f2.8 CARL ZEISS JENA marked' Made in Japan under licence' I got in a car boot sale for £10. It is Pentax PK-A-Series fit and I used my Pentax LX loaded with outdated 2005 Tudor 100 film rated at 64 ASA. The lens is NOT in the lens list on here.

I appreciate your comment! This fits into a theme of "people at work" that I was doing, and like all past theme/projects I can't resist them when I see them! This is just after a downpour of rain.
