thanks, doug and Ashwin,
I used the 21mm C-Biogon a lot - before I got the 18mm Super Elmar :-)
for B&W the 21mm C-Biogon is ok. and for architecture it is ideal, as it has NO distortion!
BUT: the color shift is hardly compensated by Cornerfix, and I read somewhere, that Zeiss does not recomend it for the M9 -
but, as said, for B&W it is great value for money!
Thanks ashwinrao!
Funny enough it was the very last image I took after 4 hours out in the countryside looking for Leica scenes. Isn't that just typical...:)
Taken with the amazing 28-90 (35mm equivalent) F2 Digital Summicron. I no longer own this camera or it's equally amazing Panasonic clone with the same Summicron lens.
She was sitting on a doorstep in a narrow street. I was walking by, holding the camera by my hip, pushing the release button without stopping. At the moment of exposure, she looks up at my face.
Attractive arrangement. I've seen this decorative stonework and plaster construction in the Canary Islands... and I wonder how they manage to keep the whitewash off the stone when refinishing. :) Verrry carefully I expect... and it looks nice.
