Hi mitresg, It's about 1m/3ft or so. The most difficult thing to get used to are the long minimum focus distances of Leica-M lenses.

I have been looking at it for a while. Still scratching my head. Very nicely done : to maintain interest in a repetitive pattern. You know. The middle column, slightly out-of-focus, seems to help emphasize the others. Talking nonsense?
