Thank you. The graininess is largely from Tmax-400. I don't mind, in this case - it gives the tree some character. The thrusting forward of the left branch is intended.
Thank you. I was sitting about 5 feet from him, waiting to catch him drinking. I used bracketing to focus, and the quiet M6 shutter was enough not to make him spill his drink. This is jpg, of course.
Thank you, Heinz. I first noticed the straight line of flowers and shot them with my lens wide-open, to get the selective focus. But, it took me 3 shots to get the "selection" right (?).
No star filter - When it is stopped down to 5.6 or higher the Zeiss 28mm delivers the 9 pointed stars naturally. Thanks for your question!
