Thanks for your observation these are roadside stalls in Kundasang near Mt Kinabalu. They also do wholesale early in the morning with basketful of single types of vegetables from their farm. later in the day they sell the smaller varieties packs for travellers and visitors. They are continually being relocated away from the roadside to more organized areas however unpopular and usually abandoned for this "drive thru convenience store".
I kept a copy of this. For us, this kind of family business is a vanishing - a "provision store". Space is getting expensive and things are now "professionally" managed.
Thank you, Heinz. The weeds have a beauty of its own, against the morning light. I was there at the right time - before the sun reached the shaded bush in front. Beyond them is the lake.
I love framing here and the situation and expression of the model, lighting and tones can be better and the reflexion also looks weird but anyway the photo is great!.
Yes, I have both. They are quite similar in a way. The 50 Lux I use with confidence and I like its bokeh; I shoot mostly wide-open. The 75 Cron, I need to tread cautiously, as its shallow depth-of-field often catches me off-guard, resulting in a pic with the wrong things in focus. But, I like this lens at lot and consider it a specialty lens. Love them all.
John,
I thank you each time I see this photo. Most of my huge family whom I never met perished here. They are photos in albums, but at least I have that even though just turning pages is difficult.
Appreciate your kindness,
Lilia Binder
