This is part of Olympic National Park, on the West Coast, just below Makah Indian Reservation. There's a trail that follows the coastline sometimes leading through exposed on low tide beaches, sometimes skirting the headlands through coastal forest.

Good composition, although I am not sure about the steps at right center edge. The seagull is very useful for framing and for injecting some life into the image. The grey scale tonality would satisfy Ansel Adams or John Sexton.
