I like this image. The contrast between tranquility of the human figure and stress of the environment is very symbolic.

Great expression on boy's face. Selective focus works well with this subject.

Thank you. I noticed those prompting hands first, and waited. Couldn't have found a more suitable subject.

The image has great person dynamic. Could've been darker, though...

Thank you. That lift door is seldom opened. The passageway is seldom visited. This is the only ad there. At least, that is what it seems to my IIIf.

Thank you. Hard to keep the fur from blowing out, and still see the dog's eyes.

Thank you. I guess this is the way adjacent buildings greet each other. This one is “good evening”.

Very nice - details in the hair and coat. The old camera still performs. Through the years ...

Thank you. An unusual sky. Wasn’t sure it could come out well in B&W.

Thank you. Taken at ISO 3200, around 6 pm. Smoking is banned in most places in Singapore. A back alley is a refuge for smokers. Must be quite a pleasure. "At last".

Thank you. I like the repetitive patterns of these housing estates. This one is amongst the oldest. When I took this, I was thinking of the winter snow scene.

Thank you. The railing goes down to the side alley in between 2 tall buildings. The morning sun cast the shadows only for a while.

Thank you. Pushing films seems to have marked effects, some quite pleasant. Grainy, yes. But, the tonality seems quite nice. My opinion - a sharp knife which cuts many ways.

Yes. I have the IIIf with me most of the time. Small, ready when I am and easy to carry. The collapsible lens is a pleasure - call it and it emerges. They made things that good 65 years ago!

Thank you. HP5+ has nice grain structure and contrast. Just wonder how it would look in TX400. May be, I shouldn't wonder. Just go with your heart - in this case, TX400.

Thank you. Very dim and low contrast scene. Did manage to catch some of the low-light details, grainy even though I have tried to minimised PP.

Thank you, Heinz. This is an unfavored eating area looking at a back alley of an unfavored shopping mall. But, the sun, without prejudice, cast nice silhouette.

Yes the D850 sensor and Zeiss glass are nearly perfect partners - this was literally the 200th image taken with the new body! I will repost it in 4K for you

Thank you. I think it was shot with TX400, wide-open, in rather dim lighting. It was a narrow kitchen, as you can see. I had to shoot in a hurry to catch the two at work.

I've never seen a dog hitching post before. The D-Lux 6 is a handy little camera to keep in your pocket.
