You picked good light, too with the puffy scattered cumulus leading to a nice pattern on the terrain. This could very well be in the Palouse country of SE Washington state.

I used my 50 summilux, 9 pictures and made them in CS4. Aperture 8, This pic is 655 kb and the original It´s about 200 mb big so... But I can do it a little bit bigger. And its ultrasharp.. On the little ferry I can se a man with a hat and a winterjacket.
