Who's walking through that door?
The composition and framing gives such a strong impression of human presence in its absence that makes me say that this photo is exceptional.

How many hours on the P51?
I 'd say more than yours on the Spits, old sport.
And the lady?
She is with me, she is quite cool.
That's what enactments are all about. To put imagination at work.
Well done.

How does it come that this along with the previous one communicate to me an atmosphere of Arthurian era.
Mount Badonius, old Pagan worships to the Gods of the woods, when Christianity was young on the British Isles, when the old Celtic realms and legends were seeking their way through the aftermath of the Roman era.
Great atmosphere, great photo.

I agree with dierk. What a character!!!
A close up would be preferable but this is also nice with that kind of smile beneath his enormous mustache.
Very nice.

This one reminds me of when I was young and I could not understand a word of what the old lady was telling me in her Shetlands' vernacular with that characteristic accent.
Just a photo quite a lot of memories.

Serenity is always soothing and its depiction in this photo also is.
Nice very nice, it is a simple, straightforward landscape reminding of the kind of beauty we usually let to pass by unnoticed.
I do not know if it is taken in England but I can feel this kind of atmosphere as if I was watching again the ducks at this time of the day in St. James' Park, London.
