I had chosen the spot at the top of the ramp. Had to wait for someone to come, preferably going down. It came as a bonus when a couple showed up.

Thank you. When I first came to Singapore in 1980, the first thing I did was to walk down Orchard Road. There were only cheap coffee/snack shops along the road, each one indistinguishable from the other. The biggest thing was McDonald, roughly where the photo was taken.
