I'm one of those people who loves to keep the frame as shot - but, of course, I'm always trimming. Great suggestion. Photo is terrific cropped.

On 2nd thought..............
Crop this in half vertically, include the 2 little lights.
Tried it just now, it's a lovely portrait without the distraction of everything else in the room.
Ok, now I can go to bed (2am).
