This photo is from “Le Gouffre d’enfer” = “The Hell Cave”, it is near Saint Etienne in France (+45° 23' 34.85", +4° 26' 46.12").
It is shot from the barrage, so no need of plane and no risk !
I shall post some pictures of the situation. To me, this spot is one of the most difficult to shoot. I have dozens of photos over many years and all seasons (this is spring) I am never satisfied, always working.
