Some years back, I had to go thru that main interchange station 2x a day for a duration of 6 months! :) After that 6 months, most other cities metro commuters complaints pales in comparison! :)

Note, I remember reading an article that states that there are 1million commuters passing thru Shanghai's main metro interchange - brace yourself - EVERY peak period. So, that would be more then 2 million/day! :-O This pixs is a quick snap of the rush.
