The nose ring caught my attention as I was walking by. I just asked if I could photograph it and he said yes.
Most time people have no problem as long as you ask. I know it changes the dynamics of the scene a little but it works for the most part.

Another hot day in Portland. Avoiding the sun just around the corner from the food bank near 6th and Burnside.
This was shot using the Zeiss 15mm without a rangefinder coupling. The focus seems to be spot on but as you can tell,I had no IR cut filter for this shot. Thus, the guy with the blue shirt has magenta colored pants which were really black. This is no longer an issue with the M9 since it has an IR filter built on top of the sensor.
